According to a clinical study in International Journal of Tissue Reactions, a group of female volunteers aged 46-58 years old applied a cream containing date palm kernel oil twice a day for five weeks; the results showed a 27.6% decrease in total surface wrinkles. Date palm kernel extract also reduced the depth of the wrinkles by 3.5%.
